FAQ

  • Why are the bags made-to-order only? Do you have any stock?
Inspired by our love for tailoring and suits, we founded our brand with a focus on providing bespoke services, offering highly customisable and personalised products. This emphasis on individualisation is a fundamental value of our brand that we aim to maintain.
  • How long will it take for my order to be made and dispatched?
Typically, our production lead time is 3 weeks (21 days) before dispatch. In the event of unforeseen material delays, if we anticipate challenges in meeting this timeline, we will promptly communicate with you to discuss alternative solutions, which may include offering a discount or a full refund.
  • Is it possible for my order to be dispatched sooner than 3 weeks?
Yes it is possible, we encourage you to contact us and discuss before placing your order.
  • Do you have a physcial store where I could see some samples?
Currently, our primary sales channel is online, and we do not operate a physical retail store. Our home studio, where all our bags are meticulously crafted, is located in Edinburgh. As we primarily create products on a made-to-order basis, we have very limited inventory of samples. If you require additional imagery or information about a specific product, we can make an effort to source more photos from our archives.

Absolutely! Please contact us through either Whatsapp (079 07494531) or email (oskar_totebags@hotmail.com) to discuss in detail!

Absolutely! Please Whatsapp us (079 07494531) and let us know your preference. Once confirmed, we can create another payment link for you to confirm the order.

  • Do you have more fabric choices?
Our fabric collection is continually expanding! Please let us know your preferences, and we will do our best to accommodate.
  • Can I request vegan leather?
Although we currently do not offer vegan leather, we are open to discussing and doing our best to meet your needs.
  • What is the cleaning instruction of the bags?
This product is made with three distinct materials, it is important to follow cleaning instructions tailored to each specific material: Leather: Dust off using a soft, dry cloth. For light cleaning, employ a slightly damp cloth. Use a leather cleaner specifically designed for leather, following the provided instructions. Allow natural air-drying, refraining from heat sources. Harris Tweed: Minor stains can be cleaned by using soapy water, use a sponge or cloth to very gently rub the stain. DO NOT RUB TOO HARD. Major stains require a professional dry cleaner. Other fabrics Minor stains can be cleaned by using wet cloth with mild detergent. Major stains require a professional dry cleaner. General Care: Test cleaning products on a small area first. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • What if I do not receive my order?
We use secure and traceable shipping couriers only. Although we have no control over shipping delays, we will support in liaising with the courier until the product safely reaches you.
  • What if I am not happy with the bag?
While we take pride in crafting quality bespoke and personalised products tailored to your unique preferences, if the product significantly varies from the agreed specifications or contains manufacturing defects, we commit to providing excellent after-sale services to address these issues.
  • What experience is required for the bag-making workshops?
The majority of our workshops are designed for individuals without any sewing experience. We ensure that even participants with no prior sewing background can successfully complete a quality bag by the end of the day. The exception is the Signature Luggage workshop, which necessitates basic sewing skills for those comfortable with sewing straight stitches. If you're unsure about your capabilities, please reach out to us directly for a discussion before enrolling.
  • Are the bags we learn to make in classes exactly the same as the ones available for orders on your website?
The workshop versions we teach are typically slightly modified to better suit students' ability to complete within a day. Versions available for orders might feature additional details requiring professional craftsmanship, which could pose a challenge for students. Please refer to the specific class details for more information.
  • The duration for the Signature Luggage workshops is too long for me, is it possible to split it into 2 sessions?
Yes, to ensure an enjoyable and stress-free making process, we offer the option to split the longer workshop into two sessions. Please contact us to discuss this option before booking. A small additional fee might apply.
  • What do I need to bring to the workshops?
All necessary materials and tools will be provided. However, you're welcome to bring your own sewing kit or machine. Consider bringing a notebook for notes and some snacks.
  • What if I am not able to finish the bag on the same day?
We bring 4 years of teaching experience to ensure the bag can be completed within the allocated class time. Occasionally, overruns may occur due to various reasons, but no additional charges will apply. Students are expected to arrive punctually and maintain focus throughout the class.
  • I can no longer attend the workshop due to other commitments. Can I reschedule?
Rescheduling can be done at least 3 days before the original class date without any additional charge. Addtional charges will apply for shorter notice. Please refer to class details.

We use ZOJE industrial sewing machine.

  • Do you only run workshops in Edinburgh? Would you consider to travel to teach a course for our group?
We are more than open and enthusiastic to explore any opportunities.
  • Do you only run 1on1 classes? Do you teach classes for small groups?
We have 4 years of experience conducting classes for 5 students, however, our current venue constraints have led us to offer one-on-one classes. We intend to reintroduce small group classes asap.
